volkswagenspares right? spoke to them already. yes, they can remove and fix my box for about £1000. I'm after someone to do it for less and thinking about diamond transmission in park royal. might see them on tuesday. cheers.

All sorted now. Got the gearbox fixed for £660 and fitted a clutch too for £420 locally.

It's actually the cheapest I could find. Most wanted about £8-900 just to look at the gearbox
