Turborevs boost gauge.
« on: 25 April 2013, 23:10 »
The inner child in me keeps telling me to get a boost gauge installed so while trawling eBay I keep noticing that Turborevs do a gauge for 16quid. Has anyone used them that can shed any light on them?

I know the rule buy cheap buy twice but for the money I wondered if they're worth a shot!

My bro is selling boost gauge and oil pressure gauge both brand new auto gauge ones he wants £50 for both you'll need to source a oil pressure sender as I bought that off him, they are good gauges I have them the same gauges in my golf boost gauge was £35 and so was oil pressure gauge, for the
Money I can't grumble very responsive and easy to read

I would spend more tbh, cheap ones tend to give trouble.

I did think this may be the case. I've decided to leave it for now and source the s3 braces and then probably get a newsouth one when I get around to it.

Does anyone run the digital boost gauges? I think they look quite smart.
Golf GTI ... What else would you have?

I looked at the digi one to start with too, but then I keep thinking the newsouth one blends with the dash perfectly.

I used a £15 quid ebay gauge for like 2 years in my gti  never failed or anything.. aslong as it sits bang on 0 and needle moves fine then nothing else can really go wrong with it.
