« on: 25 April 2013, 19:55 »
To cut a long story short one of my new depos arnt up to scratch the whole inside has been pushed forward resulting in a nasty gap at the projector end and chrome flaking !

So ive emailed them explaining ect but im just curious to anyone else experience with fk or more specifically broken/damaged headlights from them and what is there procedure ?

To put it bluntly, they don't give a toss. Mine were straight out the box and the adjuster clips were broken. I sent them an email straight away with pictures and they got back to me saying it was my fault and they didn't want anything more to do with it.

I've sent several emails since to no avail. In the end I gave up and fixed them myself which I wasn't happy about.

Lesson learnt though for me. I will never buy from them again, strictly UK companies now. Sorry it doesn't reall help mate. Good luck.

Yeah good luck mate.

What is it that's actually wrong with them? You got a pic? Just so worst case we can see how easy they will be to put right. Now mine are on they do look great, massive improvement makes it look a bit more modern.

Quick tip aswell not all led side lights will fit. I had to buy a set which were about the same size as a normal 501 bulb.

Pictures for you all to see and possible confirm it will be a simple case of clip it in properly (i was planning on anni styling them anyway as there abit to blingy for my liking !)

Good headlight
Note the gap between the sidelight dish and the trim bit also the lack of gap on the projectors top left .....

Now the deffective one big gap at the top right of the projector no gap on sidelight bit and slight flaking/scuff where the projector touched the glass kind of bang on the middle of the picture ...

There you go mate pretty sure it will be a simple fix but obviously cant do anything untill i hear back from them ! The flaking chrome albeit tiny is what im most pissed off about !

Also i noticed just now my fogs dont work ?? Any ideas why? new bulbs and as far as im aware they worked before ? I havnt actually looked into it yet but theres a slight chance it could be because i stole the fuse for me heated seats lol

I bought the black ones rather than silver but ill try and get a picture tomorrow if I remember so you can compare what they look like. Luckily if you're going to Joey mod them I think you'll be able to put them together right, it doesn't look too hard to dissemble them.

The side light holes are tight on mine much tighter than on standards. One of my fogs doesn't work either I'm thinking its a grounding problem as all the grounds link back to high beam. The ground is crimped onto a metal peg so it's probably loose.

Is it not a simple case that you need to manually adjust them with a phillips screwdriver on the back of the headlight? :)

Thus changing the gap sizes as the headlights will not yet be set?
