(bit of a - long - moan, sorry)
was so chuffed when finally the other half got his first vw last month after years of being a vauxhall driver ÂÂÂ
only prob is the addiction seems to have rubbed off on him big time - today i took delivery of another jetta syncro (from newcastle - again - and he had wanted us to drive up 6 1/2 hrs to collect it like we did his first one!)
we were supposed to be selling my valver before the baby arrives and now we've got another dub  for the collection (thankfully he'll only be stripping out the running gear etc for spares as the body work has turned out to be too bad to do anything with other than scrap it - but he had thought about  putting it back on the road if it had been good enough -  no not another unfinished project, please)
and with the cab still not on the road i cant sell the valver yet, plus i'm still waiting for him to rip out my 2l 16v and scrap the rest of the passat that's been up the in-laws since jan.
so now the in laws will be hugely p'd off when they find out they'll have another banger on the drive tomorrow. our neighbours will be too cos i'll have to bring the cabbie back down from the in laws to make space for his jetta, which will mean having 3 cars here. and parking spaces on our street are hard to get as it is.
and he's too busy with work at mo to have any time for the cars - he'll have to sort out the two he's scrapping first to keep the in laws sweet, so at this rate my cab wont be back on the road for a long time. the tank needs to be cleaned out as i think the crap in there is killing my fuel pumps (had 4 in less than a year, inc an elec one) ÂÂÂ

so all of you who moan about the other half having no interest in your dub, think yourself lucky, as this is getting a bit out of hand now there are two dub addicts under the same roof!
