Dont need to change the wings as you can get Mk4 look a like headlights that fit the Mk3.

But I must ask why as the Mk4 is soooooo ugly!

Lets leave the fact that you want to bolt a R32 front to a mk3 to one side for a moment.

Yes you need a Mk3.5 Cabby front end with wings but as you have mentioned the wings are shorter due the the reinforced sill on the cabby so you need to weld the section of your old wings to them in order to them to work.

Only the cabby parts fit, no mk4 parts will.

There you go, you said it.
Any other bumper on a MK3 will ruin it, wether its an R32 or any other crap. They just don't go. If you want the R32 style. Buy a MK4 as tweed has suggested.

Tbh its not worth it

I'm all for people being diffrent with their cars.... I quite like the mk4 front on the 3 but as said it will need some work on the wings (using mk3.5 cab panels)

If you want a different bumper then again you will need someone good at plastic welding to knock the mk3.5 and R32 bumper togther

but you will also need to fit a mk3.5 rear bumper otherwise it will look odd
