I got my brother a job where I work, get along fine!

Down side the company expect me to bend over backwards to help him etc because he is my brother!!

Pisses me off big time!

Thanks, that's useful. My bro has offered me a job at his company, basically I'd be his number 2 as he needs to spend quite a lot of time away from the operations side of things. The package is excellent but I'm bothered it might come between our relationship cos he is my best mate too. So confused!!!!!

some years ago the company i worked for took my nephew, who is more like a little brother, on as an apprentice with me as his direct supervisor (and also chauffeur). More recently I did some work with my older brother. To be honest what I found was that if you're already good mates, it just gives you something else in common and more to chat/complain about outside of work hours.

I'd love to work with my brother personally. I have worked with my dad a lot in the past, get on fine,

I guess it depends on how well you get on with him, if he is your best mate, then he won't be a dick about most things. It could only bring you closer, or further apart.  :lipsrsealed:

Give it a whirl, if being brothers get in the way then sack it off.  :undecided:

We have a family business, (like the whole family).

Always a argument going down at some point, I feel like punching my brother in the face all the time too.

i got my wife a job in my place, different departments so barely see eachother.

Works quite well as we go in together and save money by only running 1 car.
