my stupid sidelight problem

i took my car to F1 (brands hatch) yesterday as they fit light bulbs for you... and iam thinking.. yay maybe at last i can get my passenger sidelight bulb replaced as my mate has a 1.8T and they changed her bulbs for her no probs!

but unfortunatly the guy could not get it out, he said my sidelight bulb holder feels "mashed up" and wont come out!!!

Brilliant, now what do i do, Volkswagen wanted £40+ to change my bulb for me!!!!!  , halfrauds said they dont touch golfs like mine as the battery has to come out  (hang on dont they sell and fit batteries anyway!!!)

any suggestions??

P.S i cant do my self as i am a women!!!

get your fella to do it ! battery out takes 5 minutes, bumper off takes 5 minutes.. with that done you can get the lights out and see for yourself if its mashed or not !

failing that... if you're making a trip to vw whitenoise, im sure between myself and rich we can take a look.. (takes 2 of us when we're hungover)

na my other half wont touch my car any more, because it "attacks" him lol he always ends up with his hands cut open or something lol 

my dad might help, but he got the hump with my car when he done an oil change for me, my dad has done loads n loads of oil changes and mechanic stuff all threw his life on loads of cars but mine.... "attacked" him as the car wouldn't let him have the oil filter! cut him up too!!! lol
