I've tracked a leak down to the plate on the end of the gearbox. I know it's not engine oil as it hasn't used a drop since buying the car. But what I want to know is what to expect if I take off the plate at the end of the box. Would you buy a gasket or use a good quality gasket silicone instead and where do you fill the box up after ?
