I had some white S3 recaros in my old 1.4, I reckon they look better than the recaros that came in the golf as standard, and are still just as comfortable, they were electric as well. Still have em but haven't swapped them over into my gti.

Purple 83' mk1 golf GONE

S3 leathers sell cheap too! I do like them but theres something about a mint set of recaroes
Will always love my mk4 but she had to go...225 Quattro TT in its place....but its still black (she lives on in spirit!)

the leather ones that came in the mk4 look to me to be an early concept of the R32 bucket seats, if you look at the overall design there are a few echos in relation to this

They are made by two different companies Recaro (Gti) and Konig (R32)

yet if you take out all the bumps from the recaro and have the headrest sit just right it looks to similar shape of the R32's as i said thats what i think they look like and are a bit similar, chance of design maybe?  :undecided:

No way mate the mk4 recaros IMO looks miles better than those s3 recaros!! Just my opinion like but the s3 recaros look awfull!!
