LOL, clearly VW know they have designed engines to be perfectly interchangeable from the very first models using OEM parts.

This... proves provenance of a car, I dont suspect they will be selling/issuing many to Mk3 owners anyway    though a great item to have in the SH of old Aircooled classics etc
50 euros represents good value for money in my opinion, it just that its not for everyone.
