No it's uses no fuel what so ever when off the throttle. Live reading is always in the hundreds

my poor little 8v gets an average of 27.9 usually but on a long trip i can get 43 lol depending on how gentle i am

they have either single point, multi point (all inject) on 2E, multi point sequential on later 2.0 8v
