The inevitable time has come in my Mk3 ownership where i need to get some welding done on my sills. Both front jacking points were crushed and have rotted out. I reckon the front 12 inches or so need replacing on the drivers side and a little less on the passengers.
I thought I would ask on here if anybody would be up for tackling it for me? I have the repair panels and will do all the finishing so just need somebody to cut the old crap out and weld some new stuff in! Sill covers will be going back (with lots of waxoyl!!) so doesn't have to be pretty.
I will obviously pay, but would rather give my money to an enthusiast who I know will do a decent job than a garage.
