16v Drives like an 8v

My valver which has a 2 litre bottom end on drives more like an 8v in my opinion. I will explain best i can. Bottom end i have soooooooooo much torque and power but i may as well not use the last 10k of revs as it has no power at all there. I thought that was were valvers came into a league of their own? The only reason i can see for this is that im running the very small bore intake manifold. Ive got a larger polished one sitting waiting to be fitted. What do you guys think? Might it just be a combo of the 2 litre and small intake manifold? Other engine mods include a 4 branch stainless manifold and full ss exhaust. K&N pannel filter

aye. a smaller manifold will increase torque but give less out right bhp. swap them

just follow the proper torque settings for all the nuts, the studs in the head holding the cam caps on will shear off really easily, its an easy job really
