Just to lighten the fairly oppressive mood here at the mo!

I've used mine to wash the car....... interior arm rests and seats with 'Scotchguard' fabric cleaner... works a treat on those hard to remove water stains from opening the doors in the rain!
Mk VI Black Pearl GTD.... No Frills, replaced a Black Pearl PD150 Bora, which in turn replaced a Dragon Green VR6 which followed a Dusty Mauve MK III 8v Gti.

Cut them up into strips and use them for tyre/trim dressing applicators.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Use them with a 'dirty' bucket for cleaning inside wheel arces etc

I have 2 clean buckets for washing body and wheels and a dirty bucket with old kits and sponges for underneath the car

Burned them

Seriously, always keep one for really sh!tty jobs, wheel arches etc. my family friends etc have given up on buying me anything adhoc to do with my car, unless they have strict instructions on what to buy

Is that the scourer type you buy for washing dishes?
