Candy white touch up kit
« on: 04 April 2013, 00:12 »
Does anyone know if VW do a paint touch up kit and the paint code for candy white please?

Got a nasty stone chip the other day

I've had official VW ones before in the past but never had to use them, Sod's law only had the car 4 days

Yeah they do them mate, it's a good job because the paint is pretty pants tbh! Best bet is to go to a dealership parts dept with your reg and they'll give you the right kit for your colour.

Years ago, I used to be a car salesman.

I'd sold this white Rover 214 that had a scratch on the rear door. I touched that in with tipex, then went over it with some glass polish. It looked great...until the customer washed it the next week.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.
