Bilstein B4?
« on: 03 April 2013, 21:59 »
I'm looking at getting some Bilstein B4 shocks but i'm a little confused. Are they 2 different types? 1) standard suspension, 2) for suspension lowered up to 40mm.

I have some Eibach spring 40mmm. can someone send me a link to somewhere with the shocks i require.

I have a GTi 150 ARZ 2000 (W)

thanks

B4's are B4's. I ordered mine off of a company on eBay, and teamed them up with my Eibachs no problems

Two different types. I think the type for the lower shocks are called sports. I've got the lower versions on mine, very good shocks

im gonna attempt Vogtlands offer for 40-55mm sports springs and shocks, tracking their "lineage" shows that the springs are Koni and the shocks are Weitec, and all for £255 which i think is a bargain

Do I need anything from my old shocks when I fit these? Also should I replace the top mounts?

replace top mounts sounds like a plan expecially if they havent been done

i'd get these as well

may need some altering for the metal cap, i think Wazzer has done this
