Brake bleeders

With my mk3's MOT at the end of  the month and the fact it struggles to stop over 3mph  it's about time i overhauled the braking system.
The fluid has never been changed since ive owned this one and ive got some braided hoses to chuck on anyway along with new pads and front ABS sensors so bleeding will be necessary.
Ive used the cheapo one way valve and tyre pressure bleeders before but want something a bit better this time so was wondering if any of you guys had any recommendations that won't break the bank?

Ive used something similar to that with success but it was on an old landy not an old golf with abs,normally get vagcom to purge the system

I had one of those several years ago but thought there might have been a better alternative on the market now that didn't need a remortgage.

I used something similar to this when I replaced my rear beam !

Worked well and cost effective.
Remember bleed the one furthest away from the brake cylinder.

That Gunson kit is brilliant. Bought it in a local shop on a job for £15 quid and seriously impressed with it.

No need to bleed ABS as long as you keep fluid in it. If just doing lines create a seal on the reservoir so that it creates a vacuum and go for it.
