Apart from Car magazine I'm surprised at the lack of real reviews.
They didn't test a proper final production model though, they tested one of the final test cars. It'd be interesting to know when VW will release the first GTIs to the car mags for proper reviews. A month or two I imagine, for RHD models.
A few dealers I spoke to haven't even ordered their display or demo cars yet...
On one of the VW bulletins that Lee posted, it says that VW will order them and send them to the dealers.
Yeah most dealers will get sent the same launch trim car like last time. Most were sent reflex silver 5 door dsg mk6 gti's...... then 5 door manual reflex silver manual GTD with a GTI badge on the steering wheel ; )
