also whats your colour code? i was under the impression i bought a laser blue, but think its actually a shadow blue. my code is LD5Q

not that thats made me dislike my car, like you said nearly every other golf is black or silver, still only seen one other gti in what i think is the same colour as mine.

It's a good few shades darker.
I'm pretty sure LD5Q is shadow blue.

yeah my is laser blue pearl with an paint code off lc5j but yours does look very similar to mine to be fair haven't seen another one off mine yet

Saw a laser blue yesterday on the way home and thought to myself how nice it looked, yours is no different 

Still don't know why VW stopped making them. I think its something to do with sales numbers which doesn't make sense as its a great colour.
