Hi,

I just spoke to a VW dealer over the phone and he said that carbon steel grey IS available on their internal configurator (he checked all the colours for a Gti). I told him to check on the VW site and he said there was some inconsistency because it wasn't available there.

The fact is, you can order the carbon steel grey because they wouldn't be using the vw website configurator in any case.

Well ive ordered it now so hopefully I wont get a call back from the dealer saying they have made a mistake :grin:

Me too pacific blue and metallic red not available, but carbon is.  Go figure

configurator has changed AGAIN , most of the colours have vanished and there is no sign of the Carbon Steel Grey I have ordered  :undecided: :angry: Dealer was told by VW UK you can order it

Deep Black Pearl for me.

Nothing looks better when clean, a pain to keep clean mind you but then I like cleaning cars.

Carbon grey is now an option it has appeared on our Sli ordering screen ; )

Carbon grey is an option here too in Ireland.  I have to say though that unless the sun is shining, it looks a little dreary to me, I'm not sure. We get so little sun here!

I'm so tempted to go with white again (currently have a white MK6 GTD)...

As it looks like my fav colour, Sunset Red Metallic, isn't available in the GTD, does anyone know what colour that GTD was at the Geneva motor show ? Was that Sunset Red or plain Tornado Red ?
