help needed please!!!!!!!

Hi I have a mk3 golf 1.4 but lost the keys!! Ive changed the whole ignition for one out of mk3 gti I have, will b changing engine at some point in near future!! But right now I cant get the car to start!! I changed the imobiliser around ignition to but not ecu!! Can anybody tell me if ecu from gti will run the 1.4 engine or do I need to get key re mapped?? Please help is doing my head in now

A gti ecu will not run a 1.4 ur imobilisor reads the code from the key from the pick up point as it has been changed to a gti ignition ur code is now is wrong to your 1.4 ecu u have 2 option de imbolise ecu or get ur car recoded (im not to sure if gti is compatible with other models i dont know tht because i would of gone for the parts for the same model tbh)
