Great start to the weekend
« on: 29 March 2013, 22:04 »
With a little help from grant... Well, he done more of the work!!!

Got a few things fitted... Coilovers, spacers, 312mm brakes

Also clamped the exhaust bracket so it's stopped swinging and melting my bumper more!!!!

Old top mounts with poly ones

Difference in disk size

Using a socket to gauge the height of the adjuster

And the finished result

May raise the rear up a little will see how it is when it's settled

Very happy with the result, also ride wasn't as harsh as I was expecting... Is actually quite comfy tbh!!!

Also didn't bother fitting the painted calipers, so will have to paint the ones on the car one day

Again massive thanks to grant, top boy

Cheers... Hopefully not squash and ware down like the standard rubber ones!!!
Also when removing the old shock there was alot of movement once undone from the bottom strut mount, but once bolted into the top with the poly mount it was solid!!!!

Your welcome mate! Let the front settle a bit and then see as the back won't change much. How was the ride and any better with bigger brakes?

I'm so used to the sarcasm from this forum, that I genuinely thought something had gone wrong on your car! :lipsrsealed:

Needless to say, I'm happy that there aren't any issues, and that you've made some decent progress :afro:
