ECU MEGASQUIRT?
« on: 27 March 2013, 13:41 »
Hi, i know we cant remap the standard ecu for the gti 8v, but is it possible to run a megasquirt ecu with custom map so we can see better performance gains?

be cheaper and easier to sell the 8v and buy a vr6 or 16v surely than doing the conversion? hunt for a seller that knows nothing about cars and lists as spares or repair. a small amount of work will get you a cheap un!

A standalone ecu can release more from most engines but for all that you can get more from sticking a standard ABF and ECU.
