A few questions

Have bought a new NS headlight that has electronic adjustment. Mine has manual. Can I convert it? How do you get to take the lights off in the 1st place? 
Also how do you disconnect the breather pipes going into the top of the rocker cover. I'm going to take a guess mine are clogged up.

As far as i know you can't convert them unless you take the back off and swap them round, removing and fitting is easy..remove the front grille by releasing the four clips on top and the same at the bottom between the grill and bumper (can't remember how many) then remove the grille...there are four bolts holding the headlight in..2 top and 2 bottom then just pull the light out,undo the multiplug on the back and replace/refit in reverse order.
As for the breather pipes, what makes you think they are blocked?.

To remove light- you need to remove the grill. If you look under the grill (on the inside of the grill) there will be tabs. GENTLY push the in and GENTLY pull the grill, you might need to pull the grill GENTLY. Or you can start at the top of the grill. There will be 3 or tabs they need pushing or pulling GENTLY and the grill will start to pop off.

For the light. You will need an electric motor and a loom upgrade with a headlight adjusting switch (all found o  an R plate mk3 gti) unless you have a different light.

P.s balls gav you got there before me lols.
They prob will have gunk in them. I normaly pull them of gently again

From what I remember and it is a very long time ago that I took off my standard headlights! (9 years)
You can take the electric gubbins off the back. Or as long as you have sufficient space behind just fit it and dont connect it up.
