I've never smashed a genuine splitter  mate has a pic of my car with a vr6 splitter bent in half under the car on a speed bump. It bends straight back.

Haven't scraped my US splitter yet

What is so good about these?  Look the same as most others out there

Nothing really, just looks a bit tougher than the standard gti lip and its not as deep as the vr spoiler so you can run low with it.
