Wow, for my chosen spec -

5 Door GTD DSG
Metallic Paint
Winter pack
Discover Navigation Pro
Dynaudio
Colour DIS display

Total £30,585.00

(about 2 grand cheaper than the A3 2.0TDI Sportback S-Line that I'm currently considering). Hmm.....

Anyone know if the GTD still has the adaptive cruise control. I know it said the GTI can't have this, but the pic of the Red GTD on the front cover certainly seems to show the ACC camera in the front grill ?

Ha, that's an interesting one.

Xenon's gets you Headlight washers for free, and leather gets you Heated Seats for free, so all you would be missing would be the heated washer jets and low washer level warning. To be honest, I wouldn't even bother about the last two.

In my current Scirocco, if it's cold enough the washer jets still freeze, (even with the full winter pack), and the washer bottles so big, in 2 years the low washer warning lights never come on !

Who will go for Performance Pack?

I'm not sure its really worth the £980, it would only be the diff in my mind that could be a difference maker, in the real world day to day drive.

Do you think the performance pack will offer an improved remap potential? I kind of figured the extra 10bhp came from a VW remap but I could be wrong?

My local dealer has just emailed me,they have a allocation of two GTI`S and two GTD`S and have already ordered them, they will change the spec to match my order the only problem being is untill i can see a configurator i can not decide on the final spec. :undecided:
Golfgti build quality is average at best.
