Sony Xperia Z

Had my new phone a couple weeks an in case anyone else was thinking of getting one.

Good points.
  • Size for me it works with my big man hands
  • Ease of use, fairly simple nothing out of the ordinaryC
  • Quality of camera
  • SD card slot, not many phones offer this these days
  • Water resistance, not going to try it but knowing there's a bit of protection is nice

Bad points.
  • Battery life isn't great, if you use your phone like any reasonable amount your looking at once a day charge
  • Size, even tho it works for me the phone is massive
  • No task manager even tho there is on other Andriods running the same core system (had a HTC one X before)

Think they're the only things really I can think of at the moment

Have you had any of the Xperia phones before?  I've got an Xperia arc s and am looking forward to upgrading it in a few months.  It's pretty good, but has some major failings which bug the bejeezus out of me.  (Such as when I hold it to my ear while making a call, and the screen goes blank, as it should, it doesn't always UNblank when I take it away from my ear.  Very irritating, and sometimes I need to remove the battery in order to end the call!!)  I've even tried Rooting it and putting a whole new Custom ROM onto it, "Ice Bean"), but it's not helped.  So the Z might be on my mind if an upgrade to it is possible.

I haven't, my last phone was a HTC One X relatively similar on the operating system only minor differences
cant say i've noticed any such glitches yet
