Help a muppet!
« on: 21 March 2013, 17:33 »
Hi All!

Im no mechanic and am struggling to find a part number for my 2001 mk4 gti 1.8T.

The part i am looking for is possibly a wiring loom.
I am after a new set of plugs with wires that plug into the top of the spark plugs.
I have no idea on a part number or what it is called.
ANY help would be appreciated.

Thanks
The^Muppet

Thanks Barrym381.

If the coilpack is the bit on top of the spark plug, i need to know what the plugs that plug into it is or what they are part of.
Some how my wires that go into the plug have split and partially broke.
This is making the engine miss. I have to get the cover off and move the cables to get it running smoothly again.
I dont want to just bodge it. I want to get a replacement, hence why i need to know a part name/number.

Yes mate that's the badger! Not sure which one you'll need. I'm sure one of the guys here will be able to help you find out if you need the one for engines with or without an oil level sensor. Failing that you could just have a look at your sump to see if theres one there.
