Hi there guys :)
I'll start at the start, my mk4 golf went into the garage last month with a "simple" oil leak problem. Now I've had numerous problems with this car over Christmas (headgasket blew, thermostat broken, caliper stuck on ect.) So by now I know any problem on this car is never simple! Lol!
Well it turned out a bolt had fallen out the crankshaft into the sump (they found this out when taking the sump off the fix the leak) and smashed up the crankshaft sensor.
Now the garage replaced the crankshaft sensor, but now the golf won't start as I'm guessing it can't pick up the new sensor. I've rang the garage at least 3times a week, it's been on the modus a few times but no faults coming up. Any suggestions?

The reason the car is now in the garage as I lost the will to live with it and there's only so much you can do with axle stands in Wales due to the bloody rain lol!!

I forgot to mention when the car went in, it WAS starting. It's a 2000 model with the polish engine
If anyone has any input I could suggest to the garage that would be fantastic as the other half wants his 2.0 mk3 colour concept back haha!!
Thanks guys :)

Seeing as it did start previously I'm guessing it was picking up from the camshaft sensor as the camshaft sensor was proper knackered!
