2.0 Gti 8v engine rebuild gaskets..

Hi guy's, soon I'll be pulling out the 8v lump and gearbox in my 97' gti. Got a few jobs to do on it, so I thought whilst I replace the gearbox, I thought I'd give the engine a rebuild, because its leaking oil in all right places! So I've been looking on eBay for all the related gaskets, ie, head, sump, rocker etc. Besides the usual over priced dealer, are the eBay kits any good? Or do you know somewhere else I can buy a good gasket it? But not for silly money

If you Fwncy doing it twice, buy from eBay.

If you wanna get it done once and over with. Try tps. Good quality stuff and prices ain't too nasty aswell.

But they won't be genuine parts will they?, and the amount of stories I've heard about Ecp, I wouldn't use them tbh.

I wouldnt look at their sign. Their parts are so much of poor quality i cant explain how poor. Lol
