Central locking system

Does anyone have a schematic of the setup of the central locking system.... Even a crude paint diagram would help :-)

There's not a lot to it TBH...


3 wires run in a loom from the pump to the fuse box with a 3 way white connector that connects to the rear loom and then runs through to the actuator on the drivers door...


all the other actuators work from the pump with vac hoses & thats about it...

brilliant that's what I wanted to know...   someone has taken mine off... so I have to try and reinstate it.. but never having worked on it. its a bit of a wee mythical beasty at the minute!

There's a schematic picture in the Haynes book of lies.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Bloody amatures  :grin:

This is the LHD version. Door has the master electrical pump, this triggers the pump in the boot,the other pumps then work with air. A very smart and silent setup.
