Hi guys wondering round ebay and found this

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=100918&item=4565301072&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW

Looks just like mine but a bit different is it a better engine than the mk3 2l 16v been a bit more modern?

Or would this fit on the existing mounts what about gearbox and stuff?? good for 240bhp these apprentley with a Revo chip :D

The Seat Engine is a Mk3 GTI in disguse!
You would honestly be better off sticking with your exitisng engine, you will see very little performance gain, and for the money you could just have your ECU remapped, it would be a hell of a lot cheaper,
unless you planned to swap the engines yourself  :undecided:
P.S.
If you think about it who owns Seat?

current conversion costs for 1.8T are about 4 grand + the cost of the engine
