1/4 of a million miles and still going strong Gti 8v

Hi guys and girls, this is my first post, joined yesterday, thought you might like to see my Golf GTI 8v, almost 1/4 of a million miles, and still going strong.  :laugh:  Totally standard (apart from white dials), she'll crack 60 in less than 8 seconds, and touch 135 mph on the clock. Enjoy.

tidy ride dude youd never had thought that mileage as she looks well minty!! keep changin oil and stuff regular and youll get thousands and thousands more from her!

Original engine gearbox etc???

Going well for that many miles, theres hope yet then for mine (125K 16v) - it hasn't even been run in yet by the standards yours is setting!!! :smiley: :smiley:

Hehe expect the wheels. Looks grea, esp for near 250k! Mines just done 118k. Done any mods to it? I didnt reallise they were under 8sec as standard? Whats the best dials to get as my standard ones only have 120 and i can go another 2k RPM at 120 MPH

ive found that mk2 8v digifant engines with 140mph clocks as standard are very quick. Anyone agree?
