I'd spray them black, so not to detract from those lovely wheels!

Paint them red with smooth hammerite. If red is good enough for new Porsches then its good enough for a Dub.

definately paint them, clean them up good and proper first though. wire brush and brake cleaner will do it. i did mine blue to match my engine hoses and coilovers. red's ok but every car has red brakes. do 'em yellow or something to be a bit different. or a metallic grey to be classy and subtle.

i like the sound of metallic grey (Maybe even anthracite)... think thats gotta be it... well off to halfords i think for the bits..

oh you know the metal sheild which protects the disk.. was gonna rub this down and paint also.. any idea how hard they are to get off???

I want to remove the whole caliper but just had a thought.. i'll have to bleed to brakes if i do this.. dont really fancy doing that.

I thought about painting that shield but when i looked at removing it i thought it was best left alone. Looked kind of old and thought id end up with rattles and squeeks from it. I removed the calipers to paint them was easier as you could clean them well and didnt have to grovel about on the floor. Bleeding the brakes is not a major task with an easy bleed kit and they feel better after bleeding anyway. Just remember not too much paint where the pads sit or they are a real pig to fit or remove.

you will have to replace disks if you are going G60, i would hold tight and see what happens in the engine department first tbh.
