You can tell Im new to all this Vdub stuff with all these quetions!

Got Brembo 323mm Brakes on the golf. When comes time to replace them do I have to replace everything or just the pads, calipers or whatever?  :undecided:

Never had to really do this before in the whole 4 years of driving lol! Always got someone ele to get it done for me and I just pay them!


This is just so I know for in the future so I can start saving my pennies now coz been told they are expensive!  :lipsrsealed:

calipers should be good for life, obviously pads need changing when they get low but no need to change the disks unless they're warped or scored.

greenstuff pads are about 50 quid for the front set, a little cheaper for the rears.

brembo only make calipers and disks, the brembo big brake kits usually come with mintex or pagid pads but greenstuff are generally recommended because you get less brake dust all over your wheels.

edit: found some brembo pads on the net, but no prices :undecided:  ... i'd still recommend greenstuff though.
