New Passats use the fogs as their DRL's, looks silly

I also share James view with regards to fogs making the motor look more sportier..
Surely that depends on which car you're fitting them to. I don't they'd make my R look sportier [nor most modern cars for that matter]

Your R would look a bit daft with them but do you think the DRL's on it make it look sportier?

The Octavia vRS looks alright with both.

I mean in general, your R with fogs I think wud look a bit daft but your drl's do make your car look sportier just like fog on another car(s) makes it look better...

Yes, but they're LED's, not really the same thing - but point taken.

Sorry Dubber6 been away and only just picked this up, hence the delay in replying. As the wiring/power does not go through a controller it is not picked up by the CANBUS. Used this method on my 2011 MY Scirroco a while back with no problems or error messages. It does not give you a bulb out warning though. Hope thats helpful.
Mk6 GTI Carbon Grey, 2010 Bluetooth and voice fitted, a few VCDS mods still a comfortable family car. Red Scirocco 2011 twin charger stage 1 - enjoyable drive now gone.  White 2016 Polo GTI (roller skate on steroids) replaced with an Indium Grey 2019 7.5 GTI PP.
