Anni Clock Dial & Needle Swap:
«

So the board was busted on my anni clocks, they had been sitting in my room for a year, completely forgot about them until Wazzer said yesterday so I dug them out from under my bed and took them round my mates garage. This is really for anybody who is thinking of doing it - they can be split but the back housing doesnt fit. Luckily I love "carving" my way through stuff so had to take a bit out of the back board. The needles are really tough to get off the Anni clocks at first but then they are cool to put on the Gti ones, but beware they are shorter...put them on lightly (I worked this out when my revs didnt go up)
so we put them back on gently and set them back to zero.
Only thing is I dont have the trip computer but if I pick up another board with a full display il swap them over and code them..anyway, pics:

Standard! It looks fine from the front, even cut the bit from the original clocks to cover the hole for the computer. Looks OE...proper chuffed. Next job? Twin indicators in the front headlights

So instead of having to code the dials etc you just swap the needles and backing over. Sweet good to know

You've got to watch the icons too, there were so many different layouts

I done this the other day as well. Put the anni dials in my AGU cluster looks smart especially at night with the GTI needles glowing
also stuck in some chrome rings sets it off nicely
