HID problem!!!!

I have had the worse day ever!! Took my bumper off, took the grill off, removed the headlight and put a new bulb in. All in the rain!! And still it doesn't work I have checked the fuses and found nothing. Can anyone help please?

Is it HID kit your fitting or already had fitted?

I already had the kit on there when I bought the car. Was working fine till last week. I thought it was a bulb gone. But now I think it's something els. But havnt got a clue what

the ballast might be faulty.

I had issues with a old HID kit and where the plugs plugged into the Ballast it was rusty and corroded which caused the bulb not to work.

If it is that would it be a case of buying a new kit then?

I cleaned mine up but it started playing up again so I just binned it tbh.If you find the problem and its that ive got a 6k one for sale with a set of head lights but ill sell just the HID kit.

Depends which kit you have, one of my ballasts broke and I managed to source a single ballast from amazon. You need to get the wattage from the ballast mine was 35w but others can be 55w.

Oh yes, check there isn't water inside the hid plugs.

Mine is the 35w to. Just found some replacement ones on eBay but thanks anyway mate. Would rather buy new. Will put the multimeter on these tomorrow to see if its them. Thanks guys.
