few qs after n249 by pass
« on: 08 March 2013, 11:00 »
Just done the bypass this morning. Firstly no lumpy issues etc so good. No engine light.

But it feels so different lol. Ive lost that big sort of kick i had. Boost gauge still peaks at 15psi tails off as should etc. But is this normal?

Also noise from the 007 different. Sound more like chatter sounds rather sweet. But again is this normal?

did you chop any of the hard lines out or have you just bypassed the N249 (just checking as some people say bypass when they have actually deleted it)

I personally did the bypass and it didnt feel right at all, so did the delete
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

Just double checked all same as walkthrough. Also both front fans run on when switch car on too.......

So im left with dv top pipe T pieced to the FPR line.
The n249 wired up but nothing else plumbed in.
The other valve 1 pipe goes to the 1 way valve in the motor← side then too inlet manifol
Other pipe goes to the small pipe down right side  engine/manifold

Just given it a big drive.

Plus point

Car boosts smooth to about 12-14psi
And has no spiking. And holds boost and slowly tails off  as should. Picks up and just seems better BUT

Fans are running non stop both of em
Dumo valve defo sounds different/louder maybe
