lo guys and gals  need sum help, my 1.8 pb engine code gti  ,just died the otherday ,first of all my clutch was so badly gone that it slipped threw every gear after 5 mins of heating up, ( random shuddering as well). so of course i after buying some fuel at local garage,  i hoer out in front of some random crap new car with women driving it , and floor it away (amazed that my cluth is holiding threw 3rd) the cars just cuts out......   no power steering ,brakes go stiff, no drive.

wat ive checked
getting fuel & spark , engine and all pullys are tunrning, fuel pump whines like it has always done
it just wont start, im thinking it must be the coil or some random sensor ,

                         any ideas folks?

Take it to a garage for a new clutch and get them to look at it you'll only break it otherwise!!!

Probably got lost in the "Great Crash of 08

apart from a dead clutch, sounds to me like you've blown a fuse or two.
