Hesitancy between 2000 and 4000 rpm

2010 Mk6 GTI Hesitancy between 2000 rpm and 4000 rpm

If you plant the throttle WOT at 2K in 2nd or 3rd it seems to hesitate for a second then pull a little bit then seems to reduce the pull at about 3000rpm (Like a small back off of the throttle may cause) then pull again slightly, then suddenly comes alive at 4000 and go well until the red line.

Any ideas, or is this normal? (Not driven many miles in it this year to remember :embarrassed: )

mine did this from day 1

it was more pronounced with the remap but i contacted superchips who revised my map and it was less noticeable but now and then it does do it

if you have been driving 'enthusiastically' it doesnt do it - if you have been driving sensible it seems to do it more i have noticed
