Its just about finding carriers to suit, if you make custom ones you can make any calliper fit any size disc, with in reason.

Oh so you don't have to use the standard disk size for the caliper??
So what pads would be used the ones for the caliper?
Wouldn't they overhang the disk??
Don't really know brakes lol

Yeah you can go bigger or smaller but not to extremes will just make your breaking worse, the carrier size has to make sure that the pads will be on the right place on the disc.
Yeah can only use whatever pads fit the caliper

Don't go bigger than you need to. Disks are super heavy. Go for a happy medium with X calliper.

Not for definite you can find some depend on your disc/caliper combo. As said you dont want to get massive heavy discs as well as you dont want to get a to big caliper to master cylinder combo. Sure I read that 4 pots work best with our master cylinder but loads of people run 6 pots fine.

What brakes are you aiming on buying? Just tell us...
LCR 4 pots? No, wait, too small for 360, or are they? Just get some LCR 4 pots, will be more than enough, and probably cheaper than what you are thinking of.
