Help with colour code.

I have some exterior bits to sell but not too sure what the exact paint code is. I have a feeling it's royal blue. The car it came off was dark blue. Same colour as johnnyturbos old golf does anybody know for sure what blue that was?

what car is it mate? if its a mk2 look inside the boot at the rear panel. there should be a sticker thats about 4" by 4" which has all the codes on it. you are looking for a 4 digit which will be letter, letter,number, letter.

i think its the same in a mk3 but i cant remember in a mk4 and im not going looking now its cold.

At the top of this section of the forum(just under where it says Dubs rides) there is a thread on paint codes and if it is royal blue as you say then the code is LA5U...

It's a mk4 I can't look at the sticker as I only have the bumper from the car. Got a feeling it's royal blue, it's dark blue in colour just don't want to advertise it as one colour and then find out its different!
