my v5 keeps cutting out does anyboby ave any ideas why

my mrk4 v5 keeps cutting out when i stop at roundbouts or lights but other times its ok so not sure what it can be as never had a mrk 4 be for.. and does anybody know a gd vw place in norwich that may be able sort it.. many thanks for reading my thread..

best bet would be getting it scanned for fault codes.

maybe the alternator?

Problem with those two issues is that they normally don't present themselves as fault codes when being scanned.

My old V5 would judder under accel and then almost cut out on decel. Swapped the coil and helped, but ignition amplifier was main culprit. After that it was plain sailing.
