Cam shaft sensor
« on: 03 March 2013, 12:11 »
Hi guys,

I'm after a cam shaft sensor for my 2.0 GTI and have seen them on ebay from 8.99 to 39.99.

Are the cheap ones okay or is it better to go for the 39.99 one?   Can I fit it myself with minimal knowledge about mechanics?

TIA   :)

A part like that I would get from the main dealer as you pay cheap you pay twice! Don't know the 2 litre engine but should be easy.

I have one in the classifieds, bought it and didn't need it, because mine was fine, part number is in the add
ARZ K03s, Oettinger Side Skirts, R32 front, Carbon stage 2, Forge 007p (yellow spring), Forge Actuator (yellow spring), Pipercross panel filter with DSG parts, N249 and N112 deleted, SAI deleted, Carbon canister deleted, Rear wiper deleted, Long Life turbo back custom exhaust with 200 cell sports cat, VR6/G60 clutch kit, Creation Motorsport TIP, Catch can, 'Wellycooler', K04 charge pipe, S3 ported inlet manifold - looks pretty standard on the outside though :)

Dalo, can't find the add.  What's the price posted to France and is it brand new in packet?
