unknown sensor

Hi guys

Got a 95 golf vr6, can someone tell me what the sensor is for or called thats in the pipe that goes to the heater matrix next to the throttle body?

Need to replace mine as the o ring is leaking but it aint budging.

Any part numbers would be great

Looks like the Water Temperature Sensor.

I know ive already got that one in the thermostat housing.

I've had a look on my VR6, and i dont have that there. I've had a 94 Corrado VR6 aswell and that did not have it there. I'm Surprised

Bloody typical. I cant get the sensor out and the plastic its in is breaking so need change sensor and pipe but the pipe alone is £ 105 and they're not sure what sensor it is.

And yes my car does have aircon....
