Planning an N249 bypass and have been reading up on the sai removal aswell but im finding so many mixed reviews about the removal of these things can anyone who has done it to 1.8t AUM let me know if its worth it.
Basically mine makes that stupid squeel noise on start up and sounds like a hoover while its running but does it only run once on startup for about 90 seconds or does it cut in ocassionally while in standing traffic or stationary? do the resistors offer the same as a software delete or is it gonna cause running issues unless its mapped out? I keep finding posts about people saying its the best thing theyve ever done and the engine bay is so much tidier and less chance for leaks then you find people posting on that saying different and that the car has run worse since doing it, very lumpy on startup and embarassing until the lumpiness is passed after the set amount of time where its suposed to be on is over.
so whats the verdict?
