Someone remind me of points system on xbox 360 again?

Want to limit the kids play time on Xbox 360, so thought he can buy games with points, but not sure if I need live membership on top?
Where is cheap ass for the points amazon seen to do a good deal 1200 for about £12.00?

Thanks Nino handy to know I did used to have xbox live until I stopped using it as they took out a large amount every month right at the start of it all. This was before my lad was even old enough to play with it. So he wants xbox live now so thought it was time to set it up again! Seems prices have dropped a bit since

The price of XBOX live has never changed however I  do know that if purchased (e.g DD setup) then it works out alittle cheaper. in store 12 months = £39.99 and 3 months  £14.99.

Be warned thou if you do buy using your card on xbox live they will continue to charge your card untill you unlink it and the onl way to do that is to ring them up......

Yes That's what I mean a large amount of money I think I paid over a years DD before I even knew I had to cancel over the phone wasn't pleased TBF.
I'm getting the 12 month gold card plus one month extra, I think its £31.00 or £2.38 per month which is not bad guessing if I use the gold card I wont need to sort DD out?

If you buy the prepaid codes from ashop then you just redeem the code and no card info is needed
