saxo vts vs Valver
« on: 28 July 2005, 13:04 »
what do you reckon theres a guy near me who has one and creamed my girlfriend in her 8v, hes a twit of a driver overtaking in 30's etc but it seemed fast.  I'm out looking for him in the valver, wanna teach him that a 19 year old car can make him look like poo.  Do I have a chance or should i leave well alone?

yes you do, but only do it in a straight line unless you are an extreemly confident driver on twisties and know the limits of your car.

If he does overtake you, or you are chasing him; watch out for all the bits falling off his french tin can.

I nearly bought a VTS a few years ago but it was all wheel spin and no go!! It didnt seem to rev very high either may of just been this one though. Seemed like it could of been fast if it gripped better felt like it was to light or something.

Mate I wouldn't waste your time racing a crappy saxo. They only last about 60,000 then they hit the scrap yard where the rest of the french junk goes. Your valver is 19 years old which goes to show how well built VW'S are something you'l never see in a saxo!
