Bonnet Respray Price ?
« on: 28 July 2005, 10:43 »
Morning all,

Now I've picked up my new valver I'm trying to get sorted the ickle niggles. First on the list is the bonnet!

The laquer had lifted in 2 small areas which my Dad thought he'd be helpful and poke with his finger - the laquer is no more

For a good finish I'm thinking just get the whole bonnet resprayed / blown over (what ever is required) and wondered what sorta prices people have paid / would deem resonable for a job like that? I've no idea and don't want some cheeky bodyshop to rip me off !!

Cheers

as your paint is old but original i dont think you will get a good colour match on it.

100 quid should be a quality job

Cheers lads I was hoping to spend that much - as for the colour match I can only hope.

With it being metallic surely I should stand a better chance than with a flat colour though ???

I'll keep you guys posted !

im no expert but i thought metallic was a hard colour match? I had my rear quater done by a pro when i bought mine and the colour match was rubbish because of ageing

spot the two tone...
